Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>Police at Ndirande in Blantyre have arrested three people aged 16, 32 and 18 for allegedly stealing a motorcycle. The three are Richard Magwetsa,32, Maxwell John, 16, both from Mulonda Village and Alex Weja,18, from Mwanya Village all under Traditional Authority Nsabwe in Thyolo District.<\/p>\n

On November 30 this year, Patrick Mpochera reported to police that unknown criminals had stolen his Lifan motorbike valued at K850,000 which was parked outside his house around 19:00 hours within Ndirande Township.<\/p>\n

Sub Inspector Widson Nhlane, Public Relations Officer, Ndirande Police Station, Responding to the complainant, police launched a man hunt and learnt that the suspects had fled to Nanjiri Village in Mulanje.<\/p>\n

On the night of December 2, 2022, the officers raided the place and arrest the trio who were offering the motorcycle for sale to a Mozambican customer. The suspects will appear in court soon to answer charges of theft of Motorcycle.<\/p>\n
