Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>Opposition Member of Parliament (MP) for Rumphi North, Jappie Mhango has expressed interest to contest as Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) vice president for the upcoming conversation in July.<\/p>\n

Mhango made the announcement on Thursday, December 16, 2022 at Parliament building with his fellow party members. Reacting to the development, DPP Mangochi Monkey bay legislator, Ralph Jooma said he will support Mhango\u2019s candidature.<\/p>\n

Jooma observes that Mhango is hard-working man and he deserves the position. \u201cAll members are happy with the decision and we give him our full support,\u201d said Jooma.<\/p>\n

Echoeing on the same, Mulanje Bale legislature,Victor Musowa applauded mhango for the courageous move which has excited aparty members. Musowa pledges full support towards Mhango\u2019s interest saying he has the capability for position. DPP is expected to hold elective convention in July, 2023.<\/p>\n
