Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>TNM Plc, Malawi\u2019s pioneer mobile network service provider on Friday evening, November 25, 2022 unveiled fibre packages to offer fastest internet connectivity possible for medium scale to large scale businesses.<\/p>\n

TNM\u2019s Acting Chief Executive Lloyd Gowera said that the unveiling of fibre internet compliments the telco\u2019s strategic intention in accelerating digital adaptation.<\/p>\n

\u201cTNM\u2019s goal is to provide enhanced experience to our valued customers in the digital ecosystem. The fibre packages will enable subscribers to be connected to super reliable fast internet in the process if contributing to our overall vision of becoming Malawi\u2019s leading digital services provider,\u201d excited Gowera.<\/p>\n

He added that the ultra-fast internet will propel social-economic growth for customers in offices and homes. In her remarks, Malawi Communication Regulatory Authority (MACRA)\u2019s Director of legal services Thokozani Chimbe encouraged telecommunication company to embrace innovative services that enhances faster internet for customers needs.<\/p>\n

Chimbe therefore lauded TNM for the innovation that will boast business through digital connectivity. TNM has partnered with with Open Connect Ltd (OCL) to roll out the unlimited bandwidth capabilities and offer fastest high-speed data connectivity in Malawi.<\/p>\n

The TNM Fibre offering comes in two main options of Fibre to the Home (FTTH) and Fibre to the Business (FTTB). Under Fibre home, customers have the option to choose from 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 Mbps FTTH while under Fibre business subscribers can opt for 20, 50, 100, and 200 Mbps FTTB.<\/p>\n

Fibre internet is also touted for its reliability (not prone to outages). It has the same speed download and upload, no throttling, higher quality TV output, multiple device connectivity and better gameplay.<\/p>\n
