He is alleged to have dubiously sold public land to businessman Sattar when he was Minister of Lands in the Peter Mutharika administration.<\/p>\n<p>After meeting the ACB officials, Muluzi called on the ACB to work on what he describes as serious cases for the benefit of people in the country instead of targeting a certain group of people with baseless allegations as cover up for \u201cincompetence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Muluzi said his questioning is a wake-up call to help people who are currently sailing through difficult times to make ends meet. Muluzi has since pledged to advance change which he says will be witnessed by all Malawians \u2018soon.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, there was is drama at ACB headquarters as United Democratic Front (UDF) followers blocked Muluzi from entering the ACB offices. Three times Muluzi attempted to enter the ACB premises but he was forced to go back in his car after the UDF supporters blocked the entrance shouting \u201casalowe\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Politician turned activist Bon Kalindo and anti Martha Chizuma demos lead organiser Redson Munlo told UDF supporters, clad in party colours, not to allow Muluzi get into the offices, saying the ACB needed to prosecute those involved in the AIP K30 billion and those who brought down Admarc, among others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/malawi\">Malawi<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Malawi.
