Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>Celebrated poet Q Malewezi has released his second poem titled \u2018Us and Them\u2019 featuring musician SevenOMore off his album Son of A Preacher\u2019s Son. Q will launch the album on April 1 2023 in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n

The second poem follows the release of his first single off the same project in December last year titled \u2018Father and Son\u2019. In the poem, mixed and mastered by Praise Umali, Q is articulating different points of view and observations between different groups.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter \u2018Father and Son\u2019, a special tribute dedicated to the memory of my late father the Right Honourable Dr Justin Malewezi, it is time for people to sample \u2018Us and Them\u2019. I am excited to drop this entry and I am ready for the launch,\u201d Q said Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Q, who attained great feats last year, including starring at Requiem for Justice 2022 in Mexico and Poetry Africa in South Africa, has called on people to patronise the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am happy with the response I am getting since I dropped the first single and I am hoping for the best with the second piece. I love poetry and I am happy to use it to entertain and also tackle various issues to bring about change,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
