Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>WhatsApp has announced a new update to Polls which aims to help groups gather information, be productive and make decisions collectively.<\/p>\n

The updates will allow users to create single votes polls, forward them with captions and document captions.<\/p>\n

Users will be able to create single-vote polls for accurate answers.<\/p>\n

Here is how users can create a poll;<\/p>\n

1. Select a chat.<\/p>\n

2. Click on the attachment icon for androids and the plus icon for IOS.<\/p>\n

3. Select \u201cPolls\u201d<\/p>\n

4. Curate the question and add options.<\/p>\n

Poll creators can turn off \u201cAllow multiple answers\u201d for single votes.<\/p>\n

WhatsApp will also allow its users to filter messages by polls similarly to how users can filter for photos, videos or links.<\/p>\n

Here is how to filter polls:<\/p>\n

1. Open your WhatsApp.<\/p>\n

2. Click on the \u201cchats\u201d screen.<\/p>\n

3. Press \u201cSearch\u201d<\/p>\n

4. Click on \u201cPolls\u201d to find a list of results.<\/p>\n

WhatsApp has noted that users will be able to receive notifications when people vote on their polls and be up to date.<\/p>\n

Additionally, end users are able to keep, delete or completely rewrite a caption by adding extra information when sharing media between chats.<\/p>\n

The cross-platform has enabled its users to add captions to documents with before sharing them with friends.<\/p>\n

Users can find a list of all the results by searching on the \u201cChats\u201d screen<\/p>\n
