Your experiences here can help us formulate a blueprint to add value to Malawi\u2019s development agenda,\u201d Usi said.<\/p>\n<p>The Vice President highlighted the cleanliness of the city of Kigali as one thing Malawi can emulate.<\/p>\n<p>He said he included Lilongwe City Mayor Ester Sagawa in his entourage because he wants her to learn a thing or two about how to transform the administrative capital of Malawi.<\/p>\n<p>The Vice President also encouraged the Malawian community to form communication channels through which to advise the government on issues that include investment opportunities that are available in Malawi and for Malawians elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on behalf of the community, chairperson for the Malawian community in Kigali, Atupele Zamba, described the meeting as fruitful.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose in the diaspora can work positively with the Government of Malawi to develop the country,\u201d Zamba said.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Chief Secretary Janet Banda and Malawi\u2019s Deputy High Commissioner to Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi, Deborah Mitawa, were among those that joined Usi at the meeting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About Malawi Follow Africa-Press<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Malawi.
