Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>Football Association of Malawi (Fam)\u2019s ruling on Promise Kamwendo\u2019s botched transfer to Mighty Mukuru Wanderers from Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos has attracted mixed views.<\/p>\n

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, who lodged a complaint with Fam, are unhappy with the ruling and so is Dynamos. Wanderers are currently pondering their next move.<\/p>\n

This comes after the Fam Player Status Committee Monday released a determination indicating that Kamwendo is still contracted to Dynamos and must return to the club immediately.<\/p>\n

According to the determination, the committee has asked Dynamos to refund Bullets K3 million and Wanderers K4 million within 14 clear days. Dynamos have been fined K3 million for the transfer mess.<\/p>\n

The Fam Player Status Committee has ordered Kamwendo to refund Wanderers K6 million within 14 clear days of the ruling.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Dedza and Wanderers say they are still digesting the ruling.<\/p>\n

Dynamos Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Flella Kulemelo has expressed shock with the ruling, saying they will make their position clear soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are shocked by this ruling and we will soon meet to make our position clear,\u201d Kulemelo said.<\/p>\n

Panganeni Ndovi<\/b>Wanderers CEO Panganeni Ndovi said they are yet to discuss the issue to make their stand on the matter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are reviewing the judgement and we will make a statement in due course,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

However, Bullets acting CEO Albert Chigoga faulted the Fam Players Status Committee for not imposing a transfer ban on Wanderers.<\/p>\n

\u201cPartially, the verdict has addressed our petition to our satisfaction. The verdict has found Wanderers guilty of player tapping. Why not banning the team from player transfers? We find the verdict wanting on this part. Let us not set a precedent that clubs can conduct themselves in the manner that Wanderers has done and then get away with just a fine,\u201d Chigoga said.<\/p>\n

However, football analyst Kimu Kamau quashed Bullets\u2019 call that Fam should impose a transfer ban on Wanderers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe saw how Hassan Kajoke\u2019s move to Silver Strikers collapsed from Bullets a couple of months ago. Fam ordered the player to refund the Central Bankers and he was told to return to his club. Were Silver banned from transfers?,\u201d Kamau said.<\/p>\n

Kamwendo has been inactive for over a month. The player could not be reached to comment.<\/p>\n
