Africa-Press – Malawi. <\/strong><\/span>Communities under Traditional Authorities Malenga and Kalumo in Ntchisi District have called on authorities to urgently begin construction of the 68-kilometre Malomo\u2013Dzaleka M7 road and complete the long-delayed Ntchisi Stadium.<\/p>\n

The concerns emerged during a media tour organised by the Malawi Human Rights Resource Centre (MHRRC), aimed at influencing decision-makers, raising public awareness, and mobilising community support by spotlighting key development challenges.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the tour, Chief Chimwankhuku expressed frustration over the stalled road project, which he said has been abandoned for the past two years.<\/p>\n

He warned that the deteriorating state of the road\u2014particularly during the rainy season\u2014is crippling the transportation of goods to markets in Dzaleka, thereby undermining livelihoods.<\/p>\n
