Africa-Press – Mali. <\/strong><\/span>Selon un rapport du Minist\u00e8re Am\u00e9ricain de l\u2019Agriculture (USDA) publi\u00e9 le 28 septembre 2021, les perspectives de production de coton de la zone franc de l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest pour la campagne de commercialisation 2021\/2022 sont favorables apr\u00e8s une superficie presque record et des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques favorables \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tablissement et au d\u00e9veloppement des cultures du mois de juin \u00e0 d\u00e9but septembre.<\/p>\n

Le m\u00eame rapport de l\u2019USDA pr\u00e9dit que le Mali sera le plus grand producteur de coton en Afrique pour la Campagne 2021\/ 2022, suivi du B\u00e9nin, de la C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire et du Burkina Faso. Ainsi, le Mali rel\u00e8vera un double d\u00e9fi: celui de la sortie de crise cotonni\u00e8re d\u00fb au boycott de la campagne \u00e9coul\u00e9e par les producteurs de coton et la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de sa place de premier producteur de coton en Afrique qu\u2019il occupait il y\u2019a quelques ann\u00e9es.
