Africa-Press – Mali. <\/strong><\/span>Le G5 Sahel, une organisation de coope\u0301ration re\u0301gionale cre\u0301e\u0301e en 2014 pour lutter contre le terrorisme et la criminalite\u0301 dans le Sahel, est en crise. Le Mali, le Burkina Faso et le Niger ont annonce\u0301 leur retrait de l\u2019organisation, ce qui fragilise encore sa cre\u0301dibilite\u0301.<\/p>\n

Les trois pays ont justifie\u0301 leur de\u0301cision par des raisons financie\u0300res et institutionnelles. Le manque de financement est un proble\u0300me re\u0301current pour le G5 Sahel, qui n\u2019a rec\u0327u que 200 millions d\u2019euros sur les 423 millions d\u2019euros promis par les partenaires internationaux. Les dysfonctionnements institutionnels sont e\u0301galement pointe\u0301s du doigt, notamment le manque de coordination entre les membres de l\u2019organisation.<\/p>\n

Cette crise est une nouvelle illustration des difficulte\u0301s rencontre\u0301es par le G5 Sahel pour lutter contre les groupes arme\u0301s terroristes. Malgre\u0301 des ope\u0301rations militaires soutenues par les partenaires internationaux, la situation se\u0301curitaire dans la re\u0301gion s\u2019est fortement de\u0301te\u0301riore\u0301e ces dernie\u0300res anne\u0301es.<\/p>\n

Le retrait du Mali, du Burkina Faso et du Niger est un coup dur pour le G5 Sahel. L\u2019organisation perd ainsi trois de ses membres les plus importants, ce qui re\u0301duit sa capacite\u0301 d\u2019action. Il est probable que cette crise se traduise par une baisse de l\u2019aide internationale au G5 Sahel.<\/p>\n
