Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Ambassador-Designate of the Czech Republic to Mauritius, Mr Pavel Rezac, presented, today, his Copie d’Usage to the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr Haymandoyal Dillum, at the seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade in Port Louis.
During the meeting, both parties reaffirmed the existing bilateral ties between Mauritius and the Czech Republic. Ambassador Rezac joined the diplomatic service in 1985.
He has served as Acting Consul General in Istanbul from 1992 to 1994; and as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to several countries including Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam and the Democratic of Republic of Timor-Leste, Republic of Kenya, Republic of Tanzania, Republic of Botswana and South Africa, amongst many others.
