Africa-Press – Mauritius. In the context of the 22nd African Senior Athletics Championships, a signing ceremony of agreements between the authorities and five sponsors was held, yesterday, at the Côte D’Or National Sports Complex. These Championships will be held from 08 to 12 June 2022 in Mauritius.
The five sponsors are bringing in their contributions as follows: State Bank of Mauritius (SBM) as Gold Sponsor – Rs 2 million; Development Bank of Mauritius (DBM) and Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) as Silver Sponsors – Rs 500,000 each; and Alteo Ltd and VIVO Energy as Bronze Sponsors – Rs 250,000 each.
Several personalities were present at the event, namely: the Director of Sports of the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation, Mr Nagalingum Pillay Samoo; the President of the Local Organising Committee, Mr Giandev Moteea; the Chief Executive Officer of the DBM, Mr Jayant Pandoo; the Chief Executive Officer of the MTPA, Mr Arvind Bundhun;the Communication Executive of the SBM, Mr Joy Neeraye; the Chief Communication and Sustainability Executive of Alteo Ltd, Mr Laurent Potage; and the Chief Executive Officer of Vivo Energy, Mr Mathias de Larminat.
