Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Mr Alan Ganoo, received, today, the High Commissioner of Singapore to the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Lim Ming Yan, at Newton Tower in Port Louis.
In a statement, the High Commissioner indicated that he had a cordial meeting with the Minister. Both Mauritius and Singapore, being small island nations, share similar challenges, he explained.
Therefore, said Mr Lim Ming Yan, discussions during the meeting centered on topics of common interests, including programmes that both countries have been working on, such as land and transportation, urban development and water management.
“We look forward to more collaboration between Mauritius and Singapore”, he concluded.
