South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation meets Minister Ganoo

Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Dr Grace Naledi Mandisa Pandor, paid a courtesy call, today, on the Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Mr Alan Ganoo, at the Newton Tower in Port Louis.

Minister Pandor is currently leading a South African delegation on an official visit to Mauritius. The delegation will have meetings with, among others, the Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, and participate in a business forum.

It is recalled that Dr Pandor has been a Member of Parliament since 1994 during which time she served as ANC Caucus Whip and Chairperson of the NCOP as well as Member of the Portfolio Committee on Education.

In the mid to late 90s, she served as both Deputy Chairperson and Chairperson of the Tertiary Education Fund of South Africa. She has also as Minister of Higher Education and Training (2018-2019), having previously served as Minister of Science and Technology (2014-2018).
