Got clearance to participate in four-nation tournament in Mauritius: PFF confirms

Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) confirmed that they have got clearance from the foreign office to participate in the four-nation tournament in Mauritius.

After getting the No-Objection Certificate (NOC), the Pakistan team will travel to Mauritius tonight. Earlier, the Head of Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Strategic Reforms, Salman Sufi, on his official Twitter account shared that the NOC was approved.

“Have spoken to the secretary IPC and have been informed that Mauritius NOC has been approved,” Salman wrote in his tweet. Pakistan will play their first match in four-nation tournament against hosts Mauritius on June 11.

On the other hand, PFF is yet to receive the NOC from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) tournament which will take place in India, later this month. If PFF gets NOC during four-nation tournament, they will travel to India directly from Mauritius.
