Africa-Press – Mauritius. Harambee Stars will now fly out to Mauritius on Monday after failing to get flights to the Indian Ocean island nation on Saturday. Kenya is expected to participate in a four nation tournament that starts today at Anjalay Coopen Stadium.
The other teams are Mauritius, Pakistan and Djibouti. Consequently, their Sunday’s match against Djibouti has been cancelled, meaning Engin Firat’s boys will only play against Pakistan and Mauritius.
In a statement, FKF CEO Barry Otieno said: “The national team Harambee Stars will travel to Mauritius on Monday June 12 due to unavailability of flights to Mauritius. The team was originally scheduled to travel on Saturday.
