Takashi Iwamoto, accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mauritius, Mr Shuichiro Kawaguchi, called on the Prime Minister, Mr. Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, this afternoon, in Port-Louis. In a statement, Mr.
Watanabe said that topics of discussion with the Prime Minister pertained to bringing the sustainability agenda and new business development in their collaboration with their Mauritian counterpart, adding that Mr. Jugnauth shared sound advice with the delegation.
Furthermore, the Executive Director of MOL expressed conviction that Mauritius has high potential to make its economy flourish and underlined that Mitsui OSK Lines Ltd is looking forward to unlock new business opportunities in both Mauritius and the African countries. He remarked that Mauritius can act as a gateway to the African continent for doing business.
