Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Public Officers’ Welfare Council, in collaboration with the National Parks and Conservation Services, organised a hiking and restoration activity for public officers and their families on Ile d’Ambre National Park and llot Bernache on Sunday 30 July 2023.
Some 400 persons participated in the activities, including tree planting on the islet, geared towards sensitising public officers on the importance of environment conservation and protection. A second batch of public officers will embark on the hiking and restoration initiative which will be held on Sunday 6 August 2023.
