Africa-Press – Mauritius. The Ambassador-designate of the United States of Mexico to Mauritius, Mrs Sara Valdés Bolaño met the Prime Minister, Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, this afternoon, at the New Treasury Building in Port-Louis.
In a statement, Mrs Sara Valdés Bolaño underlined that discussions with Prime Minister Jugnauth focused on various common issues, challenges and values that both Mexico and Mauritius share.
We also spoke about the multiple potentials to tap into further avenues of cooperation in sectors including education and science as well as the opportunities to develop our economic relations, she stated.
Furthermore, the Ambassador-designate of the United States of Mexico to Mauritius, remarked that both countries have set up institutions, elaborated policies and agreements pertaining to economic, commercial and investment activities that foster an open economy.
These measures are currently enabling the business community as well as investors of both countries to explore partnerships and undertake projects together, she further stated.
Mrs Sara Valdés Bolaño emphasised that this enhanced collaboration will be beneficial for the development and economic growth of both the United States of Mexico and Mauritius, whilst contributing to enhance the welfare of their respective population.
