The outgoing Prime Minister presents the’Alliance Lepep 2024

Africa-Press – Mauritius. The outgoing government will run for this year’s vote under the banner of the’Alliance Lepep. L’annonce was made this Monday at a press conference. Pravind Jugnauth presented the various political parties forming this alliance, including the PMSD of Xavier-Luc Duval.

The’-staff of the five political parties (MSM, PMSD, Muvman Liberater, Muvman Patriot Morisien, Platform Militant) lined up in front of the press this morning. Speaking first, Pravind Jugnauth said he was satisfied with the record of his government with the measures that have been put in place to support the population and the working class. Regarding the electoral program and the list of candidates, Pravind Jugnauth explained that this exercise is still ongoing and that this has not yet been finalized.

Speaking, Xavier-Luc Duval explained that’there are several major concerns of Mauritians. This concerns sectors such as’education, youth, the scourge of drugs or horse racing among others.

Pravind Jugnauth has announced that the’ex-minister and deputy Vikram Hurdoyal will be a candidate for the’ Alliance Lepep. The leader of the MSM says to have « turned the page ». Also referring to the revocation of’Ivan Collendavelloo, the outgoing head of government was keen to express his « admiration », because he says, « it s’has shown faithful and loyal ».

Pravind Jugnauth also did not fail to throw a pike towards the’Alliance of Change which, according to him, deserves its name. « Zot pena lintere pei-la avan tou », he added.
