Africa-Press – Mauritius. Mauritian Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam departed for Madagascar this afternoon to attend the 5th Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) Summit of Heads of State and Government.

The summit will take place on Thursday, April 24th, at the Ivato International Conference Centre in Antananarivo. Mr. Ramgoolam leads a delegation including Foreign Minister Dhananjay Ramful and other officials.

The Prime Minister’s participation will involve discussions on various issues central to the IOC’s agenda. His schedule includes a planned meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
