West Ham Reject Tottenham’S Opening Bid for Mohammed Kudus

Africa-Press – Mauritius. West Ham United have reportedly rejected Tottenham Hotspur’s initial proposal for Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus, deeming the offer well below their valuation of the player.

Sources close to the negotiations indicate that Spurs tabled a bid worth £50 million plus £5 million in add-ons, structured to be paid over a five-year period. However, West Ham are said to be unimpressed with both the headline figure and the payment terms.

Kudus, 23, enjoyed a standout debut season in the Premier League following his move from Ajax, scoring 14 goals and contributing several assists across all competitions. His performances have made him one of the hottest properties in English football, with several top clubs monitoring his situation.

West Ham are understood to be holding out for a fee closer to £60 million, believing that Kudus’ age, versatility, and proven talent justify a higher price. While talks between the clubs remain at an early stage, insiders suggest that a deal could still be reached if Spurs return with an improved offer.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is believed to be a keen admirer of Kudus, viewing him as a dynamic addition to bolster the club’s attack as Spurs aim to strengthen for European competition next season.

For now, negotiations continue—but West Ham are making it clear they won’t part with their prized asset on the cheap.
