Chinese Ambassador to Mauritius, Dr. Huang Shifang, highlighted the strong relations between China and Mauritius during a meeting with members of the Mauritian press on Tuesday, November 4, at the Chinese Embassy in Belle-Rose. In her speech, the diplomat emphasized the solidity of the ties between the two countries and outlined the main areas of bilateral cooperation.
She pointed out that Mauritius has unique strategic advantages and great potential to strengthen its exchanges with China, one of the largest markets in the world with 1.4 billion people, including 400 million middle-income consumers. Dr. Huang Shifang also encouraged Mauritian enterprises, especially small and medium-sized businesses, to access the Chinese market.
