Mauritius to Host 18th US-Africa Business Summit 2026

Africa-Press – Mauritius. In the wake of the forthcoming US-Africa Business Summit scheduled for July 2026 in Mauritius, the Technical Committee of the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) met the Prime Minister, Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam during an event hosted yesterday evening by Omnicane in Britannia. Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Paul Bérenger; CCA President and CEO, Mrs Florie Liser; and US Ambassador Henry V. Jardine, were also present.

Mauritius will host the 18th United States (US)-Africa Business Summit in July 2026.The event will bring together government leaders, CEOs, and investors to strengthen US-Africa business partnerships in key sectors such as health, energy, and agribusiness. The agreement was formalised by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dhananjay Ramful, and CCA President and CEO, Florie Liser, during a signing ceremony at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Ministers, Members of the National Assembly as well as captains of industries were appraised of the CCA, which is the premier U.S. organisation exclusively dedicated to strengthening US-Africa trade, investment, and business ties for over three decades. CCA’s annual Summit has become the essential gathering for leaders shaping the future of US-Africa economic engagement.

The 18th US-Africa Business Summit will convene over 2,500 high-level participants, including African Heads of State, senior US government officials, and top CEOs and executives from both continents. It will provide a robust platform to firm up, to expand and to fund Mauritius’ important strategic, historic role a key player on the African continent.
