Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>Nobody seems to measure the immaterial damage of an absence of culture in the quality of life of the people of the country.<\/p>\n

Is the Ministry of Education convinced of the need to familiarize students with the various expressions of art, in painting, sculpture, music and dance, the need for transcendence, interiority, and the quest beauty and the sublime in the lives of young people in the country, those who will be the adults of tomorrow? Woodpecker \u2013 Blue Penny Museum<\/p>\n

The Blue Penny Museum is holding an exhibition of around fifty paintings by French painter Henri Matisse from mid-April until June 10.<\/p>\n

It is to the honor of the director of the museum to offer the Mauritian public the opportunity to discover the paintings of a renowned painter.<\/p>\n

We thank him very much for this initiative.<\/p>\n

How many of our young people have had the opportunity to see an exhibition of paintings by great known and famous artists? If the Ministry of Education gives a minimum of importance to extracurricular activities for the development of young college students, art in its many expressions should be at the top of the list.<\/p>\n
