Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>The President of Al-Shams Women Association, Mrs Shireen Motala, accompanied by some members of the Association, met the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Prithvirajsing Roopun, this afternoon, at the State House in R\u00e9duit.
\nOne of the members was Mauritian table tennis player Ruqayyah Kinoo who won the Gold medal during the East African Championships in May 2022. In a statement after her meeting, Mrs Shireen Motala said that she was grateful to the President for having met her and the members of the Association.
\nAs for table tennis player Ruqayyah Kinoo, she stated that she was pleased to meet President Roopun. She indicated that the President offered her excellent pieces of life advice which, she stressed, would undoubtedly help her, not only in her everyday life, but also in her endeavours as a sportsperson.<\/p>\n
