\nThe main focus of the meeting was based on the Commonwealth\u2019s and Mauritius\u2019s continued commitment to the Commonwealth Climate Finance Access Hub, building resilience to climate change. CSG Scotland also discussed the key outcomes and next steps post CHOGM 2022 with Prime Minister.<\/p>\n

Through her social media, Patricia Scotland added, \u201cA fruitful discussion with Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth today on The Commonwealth\u2019s and Mauritius\u2019 continued commitment to the Commonwealth Climate Finance Access Hub (Commonwealth CFAH), building resilience to Climate Change, and key outcomes and next steps post CHOGM 2022.<\/p>\n

The 5th Steering Committee for the Commonwealth Climate Finance Access Hub (#Commonwealth CFAH) is meeting in #Mauritius is held to review the programme\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n

The Commonwealth Climate Finance Access Hub is our flagship programme that supports member states to address climate change and improve their access to the vital finances required to turn climate commitments and priorities into true action.<\/p>\n

Patricia Scotland QC, Commonwealth Secretary-General. . Commonwealth member states can do a lot together to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement. Mauritius wants to keep the 1.5-degree goal of the Paris Agreement alive \u2013 and within reach.<\/p>\n

With her inspiring energy, commitment and leadership foresight, the Commonwealth Secretary-General has had a positive impact on strengthening the voice and advocacy of the Commonwealth on climate change in multilateral avenues.<\/p>\n
