Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>The Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, Mr Ante Cicvari\u0107, presented his credentials, today, to the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Prithvirajsing Roopun, at the State House in R\u00e9duit.
\nIn a statement, Ambassador Cicvari\u0107 said that the meeting with the President was very productive and that discussions focused on several areas of cooperation between Mauritius and Croatia.<\/p>\n

He also spoke of the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries while adding that Mauritius and Croatia will further collaborate in new avenues for the mutual interest of their citizens.<\/p>\n

He underlined that Croatia, just like Mauritius, is a tourist destination and therefore both countries intend to explore common areas of interest in the tourism sector.
\nMatters pertaining to cultural exchanges were likewise evoked, he shared. Mr Ante Cicvari\u0107 was promoted to the rank of Career Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in 2017.<\/p>\n
