Svante P\u00e4\u00e4bo, who specializes in the study of evolutionary genetics, has paleogenetics as his research area, a field of studies where he made discoveries related to the genetic differences \u201cthat distinguish all living humans from extinct hominids\u201d, says the Nobel Academy, quoted by Not\u00edcias to the minute.<\/p>\n

The 67-year-old Swede is responsible for \u201cdiscoveries that provide the basis for exploring what makes us uniquely human\u201d, underlines the same source.
