Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>Twenty-six women participants having successfully completed the programme, \u2018Femmes Entrepreneurs de Demain\u2019, an initiative of the ENL Foundation and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, received their certificates during an award ceremony held, yesterday, at the Voila\u0300 Hotel in Bagatelle in presence of the Vice-President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr.<\/p>\n

Marie Cyril Eddy Boisse\u0301zon. The participants were coached by the ENL Foundation and SME Mauritius on how to start and grow a business. In his address, the Vice-President of the Republic of Mauritius lauded the initiative undertaken by the ENL Foundation and congratulated the participants for their dedication and hard work during the eight-month intensive training.<\/p>\n

He remarked that the ENL Foundation has expanded its services over the course of the past years and is contributing significantly to the socioeconomic progress of the country. Mr.<\/p>\n

Boisse\u0301zon evoked his own advocacy for the promotion of women\u2019s financial independence as well helping vulnerable families to attain economic empowerment, which he emphasised can indeed be achieved through the creation of SMEs.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, he reiterated Government\u2019s resolve to empower vulnerable families by providing them with the foundation for their economic and financial independence.<\/p>\n

He stressed that the spirit of perseverance and hard work will be essential for the entrepreneurs to stay motivated and face challenges during their entrepreneurship journey.<\/p>\n

As for the Executive Director of the ENL, Mr. Johan Pilot, he said that this programme illustrates the mission of the Group to contribute to the inclusive and sustainable development of the country. He indicated that ENL Foundation is actively engaged to provide support to vulnerable citizens.<\/p>\n

He observed that the beneficiaries of the training programme have been trained and equipped to start their businesses and advised them to create a dynamic network among themselves and to support each other in their ventures.<\/p>\n

Femmes Entrepreneurs de Demain The objective of the programme was to promote women empowerment and the personal development and economic independence of the participants through the creation of a business.<\/p>\n

SME Mauritius also partnered with the ENL Foundation to provide training that covered key aspects in business life including idea generation, uniqueness of the business, as well as the necessary documents to launch a lawful business and negotiation skills, amongst others.<\/p>\n

Additionally, topics such as Business Plan and facilities offered by SME Mauritius were also highlighted to help the beneficiaries. The beneficiaries also got the opportunity to have a first contact with customers through the different fairs organised by SME Mauritius at Flacq and Rose Belle.<\/p>\n
