Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>The Attorney General, Mr Maneesh Gobin, reiterated, today, the relentless commitment of Government to fight against the drug scourge. He was speaking at a press conference held at the seat of his office in Port Louis.<\/p>\n

Attorney General Gobin pointed out that his Office is working duly as well as institutions such as the Independent Commission Against Corruption and the Mauritius Police Force to promote law and order in the interest of the State and the people.<\/p>\n

He also highlighted that in terms of mutual assistance with other States, Mauritius shares excellent relations with them where legal cooperation is concerned and underscored that all related matters are treated in confidentiality as stipulated by treaties between the States concerned.<\/p>\n
