Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>The match between Kenya and Mauritius in the Four-Nations tournament on Sunday promises to be an epic showdown. Both Kenya and Mauritius are looking for their second victory, although the latter played more matches.<\/p>\n

In their opening game, Harambee Stars were 1-0 winners over Pakistan, on the other hand, Mauritius were beaten by Djibouti after they had beaten Pakistan.<\/p>\n

After an opening 3-0 win over the Middle East nation, the hosts were outclassed by Djibouti, who claimed a 3-1 victory. This is Kenya\u2019s second game after they failed to open the competition with a match against Djibouti due to delayed travel.<\/p>\n

What has the coach said? Engin Firat has promised an entertaining game as they tackle Mauritius. “I expect a good match,” Firat said. “Mauritius played well, especially in their first game [against Pakistan], and in the second match, they were just unlucky against Djibouti.<\/p>\n

“So, I think if we play the way we want, it will be an entertaining and nice game for the fans. Our aim is to try out players who are eligible to play for us.<\/p>\n

Firat is largely expected to maintain the starting lineup that faced Pakistan, with Moses Shummah leading the goal exploration again. The Kakamega Homeboyz star had a phenomenal debut for the national team as he scored and was a threat all throughout the game.<\/p>\n

The Collins Sichenje-David Ochieng partnership at the heart of the defence also inspired confidence, just as Richard Odada and Teddy Akumu did in the midfield.<\/p>\n
