Africa-Press<\/a> – Mauritius<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Swearing-in-Ceremony of the new Commissioner on the Commission of Inquiry, set up to inquire and report on, inter alia, the circumstances in which the Contract of Affreightment was awarded to Betamax Ltd, was held, this morning, at the State House, in R\u00e9duit, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Prithvirajsing Roopun.<\/p>\n

Mr Telkraj Parbhunath has been appointed as the Commissioner in replacement of Dr Pushpawant Boodhun, following his resignation as Commissioner. In a statement, Mr Telkraj Parbhunath expressed his thanks to the Government for placing trust and confidence in him to conduct the Commission of Inquiry.
