Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>The Prime Minister addressed the G20 Heads of State and Government on Sunday, at the third session of the “Leader’s Summit” centered on the theme, “One Future”.<\/p>\n

In his speech, the Head of Government pledged for the setting up at the earliest of a \u2018Loss and Damage Fund\u2019 for the most vulnerable. Mr Pravind Kumar Jugnauth also addressed the issue of food security, stressing that access to healthy and sustainably produced food remains a prerogative.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister further called for dialogue in order to end conflicts prevailing globally. He indicated that the quest for peace requires more than just the absence of conflicts.<\/p>\n

Mr Pravind Jugnauth advocated for the need of justice and equity, and invited the G20 countries to be driven by a spirit of “Global Dharma”. Earlier today, the Prime Minister and his spouse paid their respects at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi in Rajghat.<\/p>\n
