Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>Navin Ramgoolam and Paul B\u00e9renger met the press yesterday after a meeting between members of the two parties\u2019 executives. The Labour leader focused on the PMSD\u2019s departure from the opposition alliance. According to him, he and Paul B\u00e9renger had done everything to ensure that this alliance would be realized. For them, the important thing was to save the country, which was heading for an abyss where the cost of living was becoming unbearable, freedom was under threat, repression, etc. According to him, the country had to be pulled back from this precipice, we had to march together to put the country right, we had to make sacrifices for the country.<\/p>\n
