Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>Al Ain from the United Arab Emirates won the 2024 AFC Champions League on Saturday, to hoist their first continental title in 21 years.<\/p>\n

Coached by former Argentina and Inter Milan forward Hernan Crespo, Al Ain hammered their Japanese opponents Yokohama F. Marinos 5 – 1 in the second leg of the final at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium to win 6 – 3 on aggregate.<\/p>\n

Soufiane Rahimi and Kodjo Laba scored twice for Al Ain, and Alejandro Romero added another for the victors.<\/p>\n

Yan Matheus was the lone goal scorer for Yokohama F. Marinos, who have never won the AFC Champions League.<\/p>\n
