Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>Apple on Monday unveiled a new partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into voice assistant Siri.<\/p>\n

Apple executives, led by CEO Tim Cook, introduced new AI technology called “Apple Intelligence” during a nearly two-hour comprehensive presentation at the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference in Cupertino, California.<\/p>\n

“All of this goes beyond artificial intelligence, it\u2019s personal intelligence, and it is the next big step for Apple,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said.<\/p>\n

Apple users can expect a significant update that will allow them to control email, text messages, photos, and a variety of other functions with their voices.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Apple users will be able to craft personalized emojis based on language prompts and generate summaries of emails in the mailbox.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said on X post that he is “very happy” to be partnering with Apple to integrate ChatGPT into their devices.<\/p>\n

The upgrades will be accessible at no cost through Apple’s upcoming iOS 18 operating system, which is set to be released in late 2024.<\/p>\n

However, it will only be compatible with newer models of the iPhone, iPad, and MacBook.<\/p>\n
