Africa-Press – Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>The outgoing government will run for this year’s vote under the banner of the\u2019Alliance Lepep. L\u2019annonce was made this Monday at a press conference. Pravind Jugnauth presented the various political parties forming this alliance, including the PMSD of Xavier-Luc Duval.<\/p>\n

The\u2019-staff of the five political parties (MSM, PMSD, Muvman Liberater, Muvman Patriot Morisien, Platform Militant) lined up in front of the press this morning. Speaking first, Pravind Jugnauth said he was satisfied with the record of his government with the measures that have been put in place to support the population and the working class. Speaking of the\u2019accord with the PMSD, the MSM leader added : \u00ab Azordi, nu finn define bann lobzektif komin pou kontigne fer nu pei avanse. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Pravind Jugnauth was keen to clarify that\u2019there has always been a \u00ab mutual respect \u00bb with Xavier-Luc Duval while\u2019il held the position of leader of the\u2019 opposition. The leader of the\u2019Alliance Lepep had yet to point out that this new coalition \u00ab pou travay dan lintere lepep \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Regarding the electoral program and the list of candidates, Pravind Jugnauth explained that this exercise is still ongoing and that this has not yet been finalized.<\/p>\n

Speaking, Xavier-Luc Duval explained that\u2019there are several major concerns of Mauritians. This concerns sectors such as\u2019education, youth, the scourge of drugs or horse racing among others.<\/p>\n

Pravind Jugnauth has announced that the\u2019ex-minister and deputy Vikram Hurdoyal will be a candidate for the\u2019 Alliance Lepep. The leader of the MSM says to have \u00ab turned the page \u00bb. Also referring to the revocation of\u2019Ivan Collendavelloo, the outgoing head of government was keen to express his \u00ab admiration \u00bb, because he says, \u00ab it s\u2019has shown faithful and loyal \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Pravind Jugnauth also did not fail to throw a pike towards the\u2019Alliance of Change which, according to him, deserves its name. \u00ab Zot pena lintere pei-la avan tou \u00bb, he added.<\/p>\n
