The proposed legislation represents a central pillar of the country\u2019s broader economic reform and fiscal consolidation agenda.<\/p>\n<p>It aims to establish a strong legal framework to ensure the long-term sustainability of public finances, enhance the efficiency of public spending and promote greater transparency and accountability in the management of public funds.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement following the meeting Mr Hansen said that he briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of the mission and its preliminary findings.
