{"id":7115,"date":"2021-12-06T19:30:26","date_gmt":"2021-12-06T19:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/mauritius\/all-news\/2-lesotho-nationals-burnt-to-death-in-livestock-dispute"},"modified":"2021-12-06T19:39:31","modified_gmt":"2021-12-06T19:39:31","slug":"2-lesotho-nationals-burnt-to-death-in-livestock-dispute","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/mauritius\/all-news\/2-lesotho-nationals-burnt-to-death-in-livestock-dispute","title":{"rendered":"2 Lesotho nationals burnt to death in livestock dispute"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Mauritius. <\/strong><\/span>North West police have launched a manhunt for an unknown number of suspects following the grisly discovery of two dead bodies at Makhubung Village just outside Mahikeng.<\/p>\n<p>Local police were called to the scene last week Thursday when a passer-by spotted the partly burnt bodies believed to be of Lesotho nationals.<br \/>\nProvincial police spokesperson, Sam Tselanyane says according to information received by law enforcement, a group of people driving in a white bakkie arrived at a cattle post together with one of the victims on Wednesday afternoon.<br \/>\nThe victim was removed from the bakkie and assaulted with sjamboks by a group of men.<br \/>\nThe group drove away with the same bakkie and later returned with the second victim who was also assaulted.<br \/>\n\u201cSubsequently, the suspects allegedly put both victims in the bakkie and drove away with them.
