Africa-Press – Mozambique. Forty-eight-year-old Zacarias Eugénio Cossa, resident of the A Mbuze neighbourhood in Chissano, Limpopo district, Gaza, was arrested on Tuesday (15) after 70 Cannabis sativa (‘suruma’) plants were found on his smallholding.

Cossa’s detention arose from an anonymous tip-off to the police about the plants.

He is currently being held at the PRM District Command in Limpopo, and a case has been drawn up against him. The plants have been seized.
