Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Frelimo political party rejects the pressure that it says is being exerted by some Western ambassadors in the country for the Mozambican government to state which side it is on in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Speaking this Thursday, Frelimo spokesman Caifadine Manasse said that the ambassadors’ attitude was attentive to good coexistence between states.
Manasse said that Mozambique’s position of neutrality in the war between Russia and Ukraine had already been well defended by President Filipe Nyusi.
The Frelimo spokesperson added that his political party supported all international efforts aimed at enhancing Mozambique’s development and global political stability.
