Africa-Press – Mozambique. The extraction of coal in Vulcan Mozambique’s newly acquired Tete coal mine has resumed, since consensus was established between management and a part of the workers.
The development is the result of a multi-sectoral meeting held on Friday (20-05) between the company, workers, and the Labour Mediation and Arbitration Centre (CEMAL).
According to CEMAL representative Olga Manjate, the understanding has allowed coal extraction at the Moatize mine to return to normal.
Manjate also mentioned that the parties had agreed to hold regular meetings so as to avoid conflicts escalating in the future./2190541594436744>Facebook Post click here
