Africa-Press – Mozambique. The president of Frelimo and of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, favours the construction of a more cooperative world to allow for the integral development of nations, O Pais reports.
“Today we are witnessing the trajectory of a people that began in Shanghai in 1921, with changes at a world level that have never been seen in the history of mankind. The presence of the Covid-19 pandemic has increasingly reinforced the view that we all live in the same village and that only together can we beat this pandemic. Through the strengthening of a more cooperative, shared and unified world, we can rebuild by renewing the hope and reaffirmation of confidence in a future, where we crystallize our desire to see our countries and peoples ever more united, prosperous and in harmony,” President Nyusi said.
Filipe Nyusi was speaking at the virtual Communist Party of China (CPC) and World Political Parties Summit in Maputo this Tuesday, on the occasion of the CPC’s 100-year anniversary.
The Frelimo party and state president stressed that China’s history was the inspiration for many nations who are striving for progress and the well-being of their peoples.
