President orders review of Air Facilitation and Security Commission

Africa-Press – Mozambique. The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, has issued a decree requiring a review of the composition and functioning of the Air Facilitation and Security Commission.

The Commission is an inter-ministerial body for the coordination, promotion and establishment of conditions for facilitation and air safety, according to a statement received in our newsroom.

Mozambique’s Air Facilitation and Security Commission is currently made up of the Ministers of Defence, Interior, Transport and Communications, Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Tourism, Health, the Director-General of the State Intelligence and Security Service and the President of the Tax Authority.

According to the document, a new Organic Statute must be produced within 60 days by the Inter-ministerial Commission for Public Administration Reform.
