Africa-Press – Mozambique. Mozambique and the Republic of Tanzania are strengthening ties of friendship and bilateral cooperation in the fields of defence and security.
To this end, the Minister of Defence and Civic Service of the United Republic of Tanzania, Stergomena Lawrence Tax, is visiting Mozambique from this Thursday to Sunday for a meeting with her Mozambican counterpart, Cristóvão Chume.
A statement from the Ministry of National Defence lists, on the Tanzanian minister’s agenda, a visit to the SADC Regional Coordination Mechanism Centre, to the Southern African Development Community Mission in Mozambique (SAMIM) Command, and other places pertinent to defence and security.
