Africa-Press – Mozambique. Over the weekend, water supply in Greater Maputo may be reduced by 50 percent in the Matola Gare, Tchumene II, Tsalala, Guava, Zimpeto-Vila Olímpica, Chiango and Magoanine C neighbourhoods.
A statement from Águas da Região Metropolitana de Maputo (AdRMM) explains that the restrictions are necessary to permit preventive maintenance work at the Sábie Water Treatment Station in Moamba district, Maputo province.
AdRMM expects supply to return to normal from Monday.
