Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Minister of Labour and Social Security, Margarida Talapa, has granted a special holiday (tolerância de ponto) to all workers, civil servants and citizens who profess the Muslim faith, on Tuesday July 20, the occasion of Eid ul-Adha.
A statement sent by the minister to Radio Mozambique notes that the special holiday does not cover workers the nature of whose activity does not, in the public interest, allow of interruption.
All are urged to celebrate the holiday in strict observance of the Decree on the Situation of Public Calamity, to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
