Africa-Press – Mozambique. Normal operation of the Credelec online electricity sales system was restored on Sunday afternoon, both on electronic platforms and in stores and resellers of Empresa Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM).
Over the weekend, the company experienced constraints in the Credelec on-line sales system, especially via digital channels.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the company urged customers who needed to recharge their electricity metres to go to the company’s stores, which remained open until 9:00 p.m..
According to an EDM communiqué, technical teams worked throughout Saturday and Sunday morning to resolve the anomaly in the system.
The company meanwhile continues to monitor the system to ensure prompt intervention in the event of any further problems.
